We have a new flea medication for cats, Activyl. Activyl kills the adult, larval and eggs with a single, safe active ingredient. The active ingredient, indoxacard is highly toxic to insects (causes irreversible paralysis and death in the flea) but safe for mammals. This new product is a monthly topical product that kills 90% of fleas within 12 hrs of application and kills 100% of fleas in 8-12 hrs for a full month. We see this as a more potent, less expensive Frontline.
